Artist Renee Diedrick will lead a children's activity on Saturday, August 23 at 10:30 a.m. in our 242 Gallery.Diedrick, a Wisconsin artist, will host "Recyclable Art" in conjunction with her current exhibition "Old with New: Found Treasures" in which she recycles objects by incorporating them in her work. Diedrick used an old window as her canvas in her piece "Sunshine Centerpiece" (above).
In "Recyclable Art" Diedrick will teach participating children to create personalized picture frames with paint, beads, buttons, soda caps and other recyclable materials. Each child will be able to take home his or her unique creation.
This free activity is limited to 20 children. Please call me at 920-746-0001 to reserve a spot for your young artist.
Hope to see you there!

Jacqueline, Hola Wie geht's? Do you of anybody that could consult and/or paint some colors at my cottage in order to dewhite it? I would be willing to pay the going volunteer rate or above. I am actually going to be there onSept 2nd as I have to preform a wedding at the Lawrence retreat center. Ciao your old Judge friend Bob
Very Cool!
All children should know art!
Cheers,
Dorothy
I could choose to fit the canvas print that I was ordering from wahooart.com to the pattern and color of the wallpaper in my living room. I could search
for artwork by subject matter and even predominant colors. Then I customized the frame online because the site
allowed me to match the frame style with different wallpapers, one of which looked like ours.
So now have this canvas print by Pierre Bonnard, http://en.wahooart.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8LT4PD iriedly 06
